Gary Rocchio

Artist Bio

My images are best described as urban photography, which is a broad genre that captures many aspects of city life. Architectural photography, street photography, and photojournalism are the urban styles that most closely define my work.

Architecture has long been a central focus of my photography. I’m drawn to its patterns, and inventive forms, and I accentuate familiar spaces from perspectives people might otherwise overlook. Many of the photographs I exhibit in galleries showcase buildings in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Thailand, Malaysia, and Myanmar (Burma).
